About this print

Free shipping within the U.K.

Jersey stands at the meeting point of Britain and France, its identity shaped by tides, trade and centuries of defence. Above the harbour, the island’s fortifications rise with quiet authority, watching over a shoreline where fishing boats and narrow streets gather at the water’s edge.

This composition is structured around contrast — the solidity of the fortress set against the modest rhythm of the waterfront below. The eye moves upward from the still harbour and resting boats to the warm stone walls that dominate the hill, giving the scene both scale and intimacy. The print holds that balance beautifully, combining strength and colour with a sense of calm permanence, as though the island itself has settled confidently into view.

Choose Your Finish

For a contemporary look, choose our Modern finish, produced on 230gsm smooth matte paper for crisp detail and refined colour.

For a classic look, choose our Vintage finish, carefully aged and printed on a traditionally made 310gsm matte etching paper from German paper experts Hahnemühle. Its subtle texture enhances depth and lends the artwork the presence of an original railway poster.

Both are available in six frame options.
