About this print

Leigh-on-Sea is a place of tidal creeks, mudflats and estuary light, where the Thames meets the sea and the shoreline changes character with each turn of the tide. At sunset, the landscape becomes especially atmospheric, with wide reflective channels, darkened banks and a vivid sky creating the quiet drama that has long defined this historic Essex fishing town.

This composition captures that low-tide stillness with striking clarity, using a strong horizon line, luminous reflections and deep tonal contrast to balance warmth and shadow. The glowing sky and mirrored water give the piece a distinctive sense of depth and structure, making it an elegant interpretation of Leigh-on-Sea’s estuarine landscape.

Choose Your Finish

For a contemporary look, choose our Modern finish, produced on 230gsm smooth matte paper for crisp detail and refined colour.

For a classic look, choose our Vintage finish, carefully aged and printed on a traditionally made 310gsm matte etching paper from German paper experts Hahnemühle. Its subtle texture enhances depth and lends the artwork the presence of an original railway poster.

Both are available in six frame options.
