About this print

Shrewsbury is one of England’s finest historic market towns, set in the heart of Shropshire and encircled by a loop of the River Severn. Renowned for its medieval street plan, elegant architecture and rich heritage, the town offers a distinctive sense of place, from timber-framed buildings and hidden passages to handsome squares and long-established independent shops.

This artwork presents a refined architectural composition centred on Shrewsbury’s historic core, with black-and-white timber framing, warm brickwork and stone paving rendered in crisp, characterful detail. The scene balances grandeur and intimacy, using the archway, open square and carefully observed façades to create depth and structure, while the soft light and clean palette give the composition a calm, polished atmosphere.

Choose Your Finish

For a contemporary look, choose our Modern finish, produced on 230gsm smooth matte paper for crisp detail and refined colour.

For a classic look, choose our Vintage finish, carefully aged and printed on a traditionally made 310gsm matte etching paper from German paper experts Hahnemühle. Its subtle texture enhances depth and lends the artwork the presence of an original railway poster.

Both are available in six frame options.
