St Michael’s Mount is one of Cornwall’s most iconic landmarks: a tidal island crowned by a historic castle and church, rising dramatically from Mount’s Bay near Marazion. Reached via Penzance for rail travellers, it offers a uniquely atmospheric Cornish destination where sea, history and legend meet, with the ancient causeway appearing and disappearing with the tides.

This artwork presents St Michael’s Mount in a luminous coastal composition, viewed across rocky foreshore pools that mirror the island and evening sky. The composition uses warm sunset tones, reflective water and richly textured brushwork to emphasise the Mount’s silhouette and its timeless presence, creating a nostalgic and elegant scene with strong depth and a striking sense of calm.

Choose Your Finish

For a contemporary look, choose our Modern finish, produced on 230gsm smooth matte paper for crisp detail and refined colour.

For a classic look, choose our Vintage finish, carefully aged and printed on a traditionally made 310gsm matte etching paper from German paper experts Hahnemühle. Its subtle texture enhances depth and lends the artwork the presence of an original railway poster.

Both are available in six frame options.
