Weston-super-Mare is one of Somerset’s best-known seaside resorts, famed for its broad beach, long promenade and iconic pier stretching out into the Bristol Channel. With its Victorian holiday heritage, coastal atmosphere and big western skies, the town has remained a classic destination for traditional seaside breaks, evening walks and sunsets over the water.

This artwork presents Weston-super-Mare in a striking, dramatic composition centred on the pier at sunset, with the low sun breaking through the structure and casting warm light across the scene.
